The app worked great before but now it works and looks great.

Wouldve given the app 5 stars but for the irritating noisy ads that you cant skip or turn off. Otherwise the app is a great improvement over the initial app that WLOX put out. Wanted to view the various thumbnails for the possible depression that will form in the Caribbean but the ad keeps repeating with each varied thumbnail.

Ive been using this app for several years, and have watched it developed into a reliable app, logically organized, and optimally featured app. It has been my go-to app for local weather and news casts even when I am out of the country and I want to know whats going on back home. The information flowed logically, allowed expansion to full screen and took you right to what you wanted to see. This last version destroyed all of that. It is nearly useless. Every time you want to see anything, like forecast videos, radar, 5-day forecast, etc, you are forced to watch a 30-second, high pressure, boosted audio commercial before you can see the information you used the app for in the first place. And there is no way to skip the commercial. You MUST watch it ALL. The main menus has likewise been poorly redesigned. You see little horizontal Windows of text or a small image, and when the user clicks on the window, and sits through the inane commercial, the information stays in the little window, showing about 3-4 sentences. The user CANNOT enlarge this window to see the entire text. This is against best practices of human factor engineering. Comprehension decreases as the amount of the text of a story is shown. If you are looking for information about an approaching tropical system, getting screamed at for 30 seconds, plus trying to read the bulletin through that narrow strip of a window is not very effective. The IT manager who thought this format and redesign was a great idea knows nothing about apps, mobile devices or interface design at all. If WLOX designers came up with this, fire them and get someone who knows what they are doing. If, however, this is attempt to drive people back to watching their TV newscasts, its highly effective give. Di not install this app until these problems are solved. Unless you want to be screamed at repeatedly when you just want to see if its going to rain tonight.

This update is terrible. I am constantly receiving stupid alerts with this new update. I just want to know when the weather is really bad, not that jacket weather is here. This used to be good and now it is deleted.

On the last several updates Im surprised no one has decided to introduce a way to exit the settings page, the only way Ive found to get out of it is to exit the app and force the shutdown... Will somebody please fix on the next update

LOX did a good job with this app.

Its an awesome app, but theres a little app called fahrenheit that shows the temp on your home screen in a little red notification box. If this app could do that it would sell me completely.

The radar feature is much more accurate on this app than it is on the TWC app. When theres really bad weather coming through, I want to know exactly where the worst of it is going as soon as possible, and I want to continue to keep an eye on weather systems as they arrive. This app does a great job with that. The alerts also work better and faster than other apps - even faster than my universitys warning system. Thanks WLOX!

It crashes and I live and gulfport and it says my current locations is new york???????????!!!!!!!!

I have a problem with the videos, the sound doesnt always work.

I like most everything about this app! The one and only issue is that the sound doesnt work when I watch the videos. Otherwise, its a stellar app!

Great app, it covers all of Saucier, Gulfport, and Biloxi

Half the time I get a "network error" and it doesnt work. When it is working, it isnt reliable. For example, the overview for the day will say a high of 75 but then if you look at the hourly, the forecasted temp never gets above 70. Something is wrong.

It works just fine for me but its just okay.

Downloaded this for just under two hours, then deleted it because of continuous alerts of the same warning in the next county. Adjusted settings but still received the alerts. Annoying after the first 10 repeat alerts. At least it isnt like their FB page tune in later for updates.

Application is great for those of driving for a living on the Gulf Coast

Gives me the weather, and it tells me everything I need to know about the forecast. I flip out over weather all the time. I kinda am right now. Im writing this comment because I am trying to find something to get the bad weather off my mind. My name is Chelsea Cox, and I live in Mississippi. So my station hits close to home! Thank you wlox for making a way for people like me who are terrified about bad weather able to be not so scared! Bye

iPhone 5c with iOS 8.0.2. App keeps crashing every time I open the app. I would have emailed the complaint but have been unable to locate a contact. Please fix because I enjoy using this app.
